Website Construction and Model Refinement

Happy April Fools Day! (But all jokes aside, here is what I accomplished)

On the website that you are currently on, I added a section: Resources. Under this section, there will be many insightful resources for beginners and adepts alike. I recently finished a section titled "Must-See Content Creators", featuring some of my favorite 3D printing and modeling youtubers. The featured range from creative modelers to comedic reviewers to stern research and developers. I usually watch those creators on a daily-basis; it always seems that I always learn something new! In addition to that, I am planning to add a Forum and a Section Featuring the best 3D model websites.

In addition to further constructing my website, I refined my 3D models: the Rotating Stand (V2) and the Bevel Gear Whisk (V1). Since I already finished most of the rough design, I mainly worked on the small details like creating connector plugs with tolerances (for the Rotating Stand), and I made the bevel gear whisk more ergonomic. I am planning to 3D print the Rotating Stand after a few touch ups.

2nd Iteration of "Rotating Stand"

You can always find room to improve! That's why engineers have many versions of their designs!

Bonus: I have been working on 2 videos that cannot be completed without the Rotating Stand because I need a good way to display the 3D prints.

Here is an overview of the two:

1) How to get rid of layer lines: use lowest layer height and enable fuzzy skin

2) multicolor (two colored) filament: I 3D printed a spiral (1.75 mm diameter) and did a layer change.

Both of the projects above will be made into a Youtube video!

Unfortunately, my Spring Break is coming to an end, so I won't be able to make major updates super frequently. But I will try to work little by little.
